Real Estate Market Update

Hot or Not?

If you’ve been thinking about buying or selling your home soon, recent events might have you feeling a little uneasy. As we navigate the uncertain days ahead of us, it can be hard to predict just what the real estate market will do—especially in the Denver Metro area.

Despite all of the negative news, there are a few good things to keep in mind. The Denver market has remained steady in light of recent stock market fluctuations, and home prices for March still increased by over 6% since last year. We also saw a drop in how long homes are staying on the market, as well as a slight increase in inventory.

Did You Know?

Many Americans invest in the stock market, but there’s a certain level of risk involved. Today, those risks don’t seem to be paying off, and many investors are starting to broaden their portfolios by purchasing real estate.

Historically low rates and increased stability are just a few reasons Denverites might choose to invest in homes, commercial properties, and much more. We’re seeing quite a few gains in the residential premier market ($500K – $749K), where closed sales increased by almost 18% since last year. Thinking about investing in real estate? Buy Now or Later?

It’s impossible to predict exactly what will happen to the real estate industry during the coming months. Regardless of the circumstances, our team is watching the market and will be here to answer any of your questions. We encourage you to practice social distancing, stay home if you’re ill, and follow the recent shelter-in-place order if you live in the Denver area.

If you’re still thinking about buying or selling your home, we’d love to discuss all of the options available to you. We’re also taking extra precautions to ensure your health and safety!

What’s Happening in Denver?

Unfortunately, all events in the Denver metro area have been cancelled until further notice. Even though a statewide shelter in place order has been issued, enjoying our parks, trails, and wonderful outdoors is highly encouraged!
