Denver saw a net influx of 11,053 people over the course of a year, according to recently released U.S. Census Bureau figures. That growth was the nation’s tenth-highest between July 1st 2017 and July 2018.

Buy Now or Later?

Nationally, home prices in all 50 states and in the District of Columbia increased since the fourth quarter of last year. Home prices rose 5.1% in the first quarter from a year earlier, the slowest annualized pace in four years, according to the Federal Housing Finance Agency. The appreciation of home prices is beginning to slow ever so slightly, which makes now the most advantageous time to hop in the market and buy a home. This slowdown in appreciation does not signal to a recession, in fact it signals that the market is returning to a normal pace.
